Although she was born in Massachusetts, Rose has lived in Maine since she was an infant. She currently resides in North Bridgton and  has two grown children who also enjoy and reside in Maine.

Dabbling in the arts has always been Rose's passion, whether it be drawing, painting or photography. Currently she is employed at Elm's Puzzles, Inc., located in Harrison, Maine. She cuts heirloom-quality wooden jigsaw puzzles. She also draws "special pieces" that appear within these puzzles. Examples of these would be names, dates, animals and hobby-indicative pieces. Designing and cutting special borders to frame some of these puzzles also presents a challenge. Once completed, the hand-crafted borders are beautifully painted by a talented local artist.

"Maine is immersed in my nature and is birthed in my art work. I guess you could say, I am a cat-crazed, dirt road-loving, wood-dwelling recluse who remains captivated by Nature's blessings. I feel fortunate that the Earth's wonders continue to spark my being with spiritual delight and amazement."
